Stamp Etching Graduation Cards

Started this the other day and had a chance to finish this off today. It uses the colors from this week's color challenge as well as a fun technique with the mini flowers. I used the faux barn board technique for the back panel.

I discovered that the tiny flower from Your Perfect Day set makes a great center for the Itty Bitty Accents punched flower.

I stamp first then line up my punch around it.

This is using the stamp etching technique from Lydia's excellent tutorial. It adds nice depth to simple images. The key is to flick up from the center of your image.

I liked keeping the lighter color in the center so I started my etching from a littler farther out.

I added a little shimmer with my gel pen.

I had embossed my diecut into my Olive panel and added some shimmery accents there too.

Here's the second card.
