Sing to the Lord

The finished card. Couldn't get this praise song out of my mind while I was working!
Gluing the box board die cut onto card stock

Covered with foil, run through the big shot between two plates (really well-used and scratched up plates!)  then spray painted black

Sanding off the paint from the embossed surfaces.

Really grungy huh!

Removing some of the paint with a Qtip wet with alcohol blending solution.

Adding some color with reinkers and alcohol inks

Close up of the bird

The sentiment is stamped onto layered newspaper covered with Gesso (a leftover from a previous challenge!)
